???? - 1798
Anthony Todd in 1774 purchased an annuity of £50 p.a. for the lives of his niece Ann [sic] Colling and his daughter Ann, secured on the property (including enslaved people) of John Abel Ward (q.v.) on Nevis, as part of a large group of similar annuitants. Anne Colling married Anthony Brownless at St Cuthbert's Darlington, Co. Durham 22/02/1779 but has not been traced further by LBS; Todd's daughter Ann appears to have predeceased him (she is not mentioned in his will). Todd was also among the 23 purchasers appearing in a deed on 1774 under which Augustus Gwyn (q.v.) sold annuities secured on the Mount Charles estate and Middleton Pen. Neither annuity is mentioned in his will.
