John Ryland, linen-merchant, Peregrine Stockdale woollen draper, Edward Player merchant, Archibald Robe merchant and William Watts cottan [sic] manufacturer all of Bristol were parties to a deed of 17/02/1804 whereby William Perry (q.v.) of Bristol conveyed his business assets in England, Jamaica, St Kitts and St Vincent to the five men as trustees for debts of £14,000 an upwards owed to the five men and to other creditors.
