Biography

Anti-Abolitionist MP and English landowner and absentee slave-owner on St Kitts.

  1. Will of Rt Hon Charles Earl of Romney [made in 1806] proved 17/08/1811. The will was simple, leaving £3000 each to his two unmarried daughters, £100 each to a range of relatives and friends and the residuary estate to his son Charles, then Viscount Marsham.
