Glasgow merchant, partner in G & R Dennistoun. His share in the firm was ostensibly valued at £29,000 c. 1821, but later reassessed to have been below £10,000 at that date. Andrew Buchanan pursued the firm G & R Dennistoun for the security it had pledged to his wife for her advance to her [and presumably their] son James Buchanan of £5250 due 11/11/1820.
