Francis Fane MP d. 1757

???? - 1757

Biography

MP for a series of constituencies between 1727 and 1757. He had lent £7000 to Edmund Akers secured on property on Nevis, a mortgage that appears to have passed to his brother Thomas Fane, 8th Earl of Westmorland (the deed dated 1763 refers to the debt as owed to 'Honourable Francis Fane now Earl of Westmorland').
