Charles Morton was the late partner of George Atkinson of Montego Bay (q.v.), shown as such in the latter's will made in 1801, under which Atkinson allocated £2500 currency to Charles Morton's widow Mary Morton as the estimated share due to Morton's estate from the eventual settlement of the accounts of the partnership.
