Mortgagee of 'slave-property' on Jamaica.

  1. Henry Standyford gentleman of London mortgagee of Henry Strudwicke jun. with George Garrett and John Stevens in a suit of 1768.

  2. Executor of Henry Stanyforth [sic] deceased of Woodford, Essex, and others to Charles Pallmer of Bath formerly of St. John, Jamaica. Description: Grant of 970 acs. in St. Mary, 1000 acs. in same, 210 acs. in St. George, 110 acs. in St. Mary, 1000 acs. in same, to hold for residue of term of mortgage for uses stated. Date: 5 Nov, 1777.

  3. The will of Henry Standyford of Woodford proved 06/10/1763. The will shows a range of financial assets in Britain but is silent on the mortgage over 'property' in Jamaica.
