???? - 1817
John Iggulden of Deal, Kent was shown in the will of Thomas Orde (q.v.) as holding security over Orde's house and land on Dominica. Iggulden was probably the brewer of Shoulden [sic] Kent, whose will proved 19/09/1817 showed a wide portfolio of property including public houses in England, but made no apparent reference to Dominica or to Orde or Orde's heirs. A codicil to the will notes the decline in value of Iggulden's property shortly before his death. No connection has to date been found by LBS to explain the financial connection between Iggulden and Thomas Orde.
