1727 [SY] - 1746 [EY] → Not known
In her will made in 1746 but proved in 1756 Elizabeth Alleyne transmitted an estate on Barbados now known to be Turner's Hall to her nephew Thomas Alleyne with contingent remainder to her niece Mary Fitzherbert nee Meynell. Her husband's grandfather Abel Alleyne had reportedly bought a half-share in the estate in 1668. The means of transmission from the younger Abel Alleyne to his widow has not been identified: his will appears to have directed his estate to the same nephew Thomas Alleyne. |
