Biography
- Tentatively identified as the Mr Twyford who preceded Benjamin McMahon as overseer of Stirling Castle estate in St Thomas-in-the-Vale in 1830. According to McMahon, Twyford was a "drunken worthless vagabond" who treated slaves with unparallelled barbarity.
