Biography

Resident in Jamaica, widow of John Neilson (d. 1800), awarded part of the compensation for the Woodside plantation in St Mary as annuitant and also the compensation for another award in St Mary.

  1. After her husband's death, she reportedly went to Britain for a number of years with her son William John Neilson (later Doctor, d. c 1828), before returning to Jamaica, where she registered enslaved people herself 1817-1832.
