Born in 1789, son of Joshua Dyett and Anna Daly. MD from Edinburgh University. Married Judith Mary Meade Lynch, daughter of Peter Lynch, 22/05/1811. 11 children born 1812-1836. Buried at St Anthony, Montserrat, 04/08/1839.
Described by Sturge and Harvey as "Dr Dyett, the Speaker of the Assembly; he is one of the few of his class, who lends his support to the cause of religion and morality in the colony."
