1791 - 1839
Born in England but apparently resident in St Kitts in the 1830s, son of Bedingfield Pogson and Elizabeth Philadelphia Pogson. His maternal grandmother's family was that of Anthony Cunyngham (q.v.) and he acted for his aunts the Pearce Hall sisters (also q.v.) on their claim for Cunynghams estate.
Anthony Preston Pogson baptised Sutton Surrey 28/02/1791 son of Bedingfield Pogson and Elizabeth P. Pogson; will of Bedingfield Pogson of Edwardstone Suffolk proved 22/02/1802; will of Anthony Preston Pogson gentleman of the island of St Christopher proved 05/07/1839.
Henrietta Antonia, the second daughter of the late Bedingfield Pogson, is shown in 1820 marrying Sir John Miles Winnington, when she was also described as 'great niece of the present Earl of Glencairne' (the Glencairn Earldom had ended in 1796 with the death of the 15th Earl, so this must be a claimed title only). Winnington was later involved in adultery with the wife of Samuel Le Feuvre or Fevre. Bedingfield Pogson attended Westminster School 23/09/1765 and was the son of John Pogson.
