There is uncertainty over this man, who has not been traced. He was possibly the same man as Peter Harriss Abbott (q.v.), but the awardee of the compensation in Trinidad as assignee of Turnbull Forbes appears under the name 'John Hariss Abbott.'

  1. Wm Pennell is shown as Official Assignee for the Final Dividend to creditors from Turnbull Forbes in 1855.
