Biography

Awarded part of the compensation for the Nibbs estate on Antigua with others as a trustee, the compensation award to settle in the first instance the annuity of Elizabeth Martin, widow, probably his sister-in-law.  His address is left blank in the compensation records, but it is likely that he was William Henry Martin, son of Samuel Martin and brother of George Savage Martin and John Halliday Martin (each of whom q.v.).

  1. The will of William Henry Martin, formerly of the island of Antigua, but late of 12 Yonge Park, Seven Sisters Road was proved on 24/04/1872 by Julia his widow, effects under £1500.
