Anglican clergyman, awarded the compensation for Parson Mawle estate on Antigua with G.W. Ledeatt (q.v.). His ownership appears to have passed to him from his first wife, Eliza Gabbet[t] née Mayer (1772-1807), daughter of John Mayer of Antigua.
Robert Hesketh, son of Robert of Shrewsbury Salop, matriculated Christ Church 11/10/1792 aged 18, BA 1797, MA 1814, Rector of Acton Burnell 1815 and of St Dunstan's-in-the-East London 1817 until his death 11/02/1837. Rev. Robert Hesketh married Eliza Gabbett widow at St Michael Cornhill 23/08/1804; the Rev. Robert Hesketh of the parish of St Andrew Holborn widower married Emma Daniel[l] of the parish of St Giles 16/08/1809. The family lived at Parkhurst, Church Street, Epsom. Will of Rev. Robert Hesketh, otherwise Robert Cuthbert Hesketh, Clerk of Epsom Surrey proved 15/03/1837.
Robert Hesketh lived in Parkhurst, Church Street, Epsom, next door to the family of his second wife Emma Daniell.
