Biography

Possibly the Frederick Lack, son of John Lack (1739-1824) and Elizabeth Horsfield (1739-1828): this would make him the brother of Edward John Lack (q.v.) who was a trustee for the same claim.

  1. In 1851 Frederick Lack, age 43, unmarried, born Middlesex, was a lodger at 16 Down Street, Mayfair. He was a Clerk in the Board of Trade (as was his brother Edward John Lack). He was at the same address in 1861. He died at Brighton, 20/07/1867, described as late of 16 Down-street Piccadilly and the Board of Trade Whitehall. His executor was his nephew Henry Reader Lack. Effects under £1,500.
