Partner with Isaac Levi (q.v.) until 1825 in Isaac and Solomon Levi (q.v.) of Old Broad Street.

  1. Probably Solomon Jacob Waley of 22 Devonshire Place who died 01/02/1864 and whose will was proved 26/02/1864 by Jacob Waley of 20 Wimpole Street and Simon Waley Waley of 22 Devonshire Place sons and executors, effects under £90,000. Simon Waley Waley (1827-1875) is in the DNB as 'amateur musician'.

  2. Solomon Jacob Waley was the son of Jacob Levi and Elizabeth Waley. Solomon Jacob Levi of Stockwell, Surrey [sic], was granted on the 8th September,1834, a licence for him and his issue by Rachael, his wife, second daughter of Nahum Hart of Goodman Fields, Middlesex, by Jane, his wife, eldest daughter of Samuel Waley of the same place, to take and use the surname of Waley in lieu of Levi and to bear the arms of Waley. Samuel Waley was a Dayan (Judge of a Court of Jewish Law).

  3. Solomon Jacob Waley in 1846 was elected as an auditor of the Londonderry and Coleraine Railway Company..
