Awarded the compensation with others representing the Nagle and Harnage families for the Boarded Hall estate in Barbados, as executor and residual devisee (with Garrett Nagle, q.v.) of Admiral Sir Edmund Nagle (q.v.). Son of Lucy Nagle (who was a cousin of Admiral Sir Edmund Nagle) and John Nugent of Bloomsbury (q.v.).

Christopher Richard Nugent, son of John and Lucy Nugent, was baptised 11/10/1788 at Westminster. Described as 'nephew and heir of the Rt Hon Edmund Burke.' John Nugent had married Lucy Nagle (daughter of Garrett Nagle, father or grandfather of the Garrett Nagle of the award) in 1786. John's sister Jane Mary Nugent married Edmund Burke (himself the son of Richard Burke and Mary Nagle) in 1757.
Under the will of Christopher Richard Nugent of Bruges Belgium proved 06/06/1851, he left his interest in the mortgage from the late Sir George Harnage and his son the present Sir George Harnage on Boarded Hall, to which he was entitled under the will of Sir Edmund Nagle, to his four sons.
