Awarded the compensation for enslaved people on Sans Souci in British Guiana with others as guardian of a group of minors named Fraser, presumably his relatives. The money appears to have been paid to partners in the Liverpool/British Guiana merchants Sandbach Tinne instead.

Oct 23rd 1837 'Order of Colonial court to pay the compensation due to claim 995 to CSParker, HRSandbach, James Parker and Edmund [sic] Whitaker. Subsequent amendment to Edward Whitaker [of Lincoln's Inn Fields, Times 26/10/1846 p. 9].
