Elizabeth, born 10/11/1790, baptised at the Tavern in St Thomas-in-the-East 28/10/1789, daughter of Mr and Mrs Petrie. These parents were probably Ninian and Elizabeth Petrie, whose younger children Helen, Andrew and Jane were baptised at Mount Ida in St Thomas-in-the-East in 1798.
Elizabeth Petrie and Helen Hoyes registered enslaved people as joint owners in Kingston in 1817. By 1820 they had inherited a further three enslaved people by legacy from Ninan Petrie. Helen Petrie had married John Hoyes in Kingston in 1817.
