1775 - 1842
Welsh attorney, awarded with 'uxor' part of the compensation for the Whitehall estate in Portland Jamaica.
Son of William Griffith of Bodegroes. The compensation records show 'Sarah White' as the legatee of David White of Bristol and Jamaica who married William Griffith. However, a family tree drawn up by J.E. Griffith shows Catherine Longueville White as the daughter of David White of Whitehall marrying William Glynne Griffith of Rhosfawr and Bodegroes in 1810. This is more consistent with other evidence which shows Sarah White as having married William Gaven (q.v.).
Will of William Glynne Griffith of Bodegroes proved 25/03/1844.
