  1. Charles Brooke Hunt of Norfolk Street Park Lane married Margaret Knowles, daughter of late Ed. Knowles 1820; the marriage was at St George Hanover Square on 03/08/1820, when the wife was given as  'Margaret Knowles Knowles spinster of Paddington'

  2. The 1861 census shows a Charles Brooke Hunt born St Mary Nottinghamshire aged 66 'a Justice of the Peace and Deputy lieutenant for the county of Gloucester resdient landowner - on the Civil superannuation list of the Ordnance Department', living at Bowden Hall, Upton St Leonards with his wife Louisa aged 45, and daughters Louisa Maria Jane aged 18, Mary Harriet Louisa aged 11 and Arthur Ernest aged 6, and Louisa Maria Dawnay aged 80 Boarder, Viscountess Dowager Downe (sic); the 1881 census shows him at Peers Court Stinchcombe Gloucester aged 86 Magistrate and Deputy Lieutenant Civil Service Superannuated with Louisa his wife Gentlewoman aged 61.      

  3. A Charles Brooke Hunt was Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire 31/08/1852.
