Claimant or beneficiary
Biography
Awarded the compensation with the London banker Robert Snow for Creighton Hall in St David Jamaica, probably as trustees for the Hon. Rev. William Herbert and his wife.
- Conceivably Sir William Curtis 2nd bart (1782-1847) but, given that no title is shown in the compensation records, more plausibly William Curtis junior (1804-1870), a partner with Sir William Curtis 2nd bart. and others in the banking firm of Robarts, Curtis, Robarts and Curtis and its successors, and eventually 3rd bart., who died in 1870 leaving £7000.
