Biography

Slave-owner in Antigua from at least 1817.

  1. Ann Jackson Rosco, daughter of James and Lydia Rosco, baptised 28/08/1763 in Bristol, England. Siblings Lydia Mary and Mary Ann were baptised in the same place in 1764 and 1767. James Rosco was deceased by 1796 when a son, Richard Rosco, was admitted to the Middle Temple.

  2. Ann Rosco, daughter of Lydia Rosco, was one of the beneficiaries in the will of her great-aunt Sarah Watkins, widow of Samuel Watkins, written and proved in 1791. Ann was to inherit Sarah Watkins's house and one-third of her residuary estate (with her mother Lydia and brother Richard).

  3. Miss Ann Jackson Rosco of Antigua was bequeathed £50 in the will of her sister-in-law Henrietta Rosco, widow of Upper Harley Street, written in 1843 and proved in 1851.
