Daughter of Mary Scarlett (q.v.) and probably Dr Robert Scarlett, and owner (probably with her late sister Mary) of four enslaved people on Cinnamon Hill in St James' Jamaica.
In 1841, 1851 and 1861 Louise Scarlett 'cousin' born Jamaica (c. 1800) was living with Lady Louise Currey, wife and then widow of Sir Edmund Currey, at Erlwood house Windlesham Surrey. In 1861 Peter C. Scarlett 'brother' was also living at the house. Peter Campbell Scarlett was the son and Louise Lawrence Scarlett the daughter of James Scarlett, the brother of Dr Robert Scarlett.
