Isaac George Currie, London banker, one of the trustees of John Graham Campbell, and son of Isaac Currie (q.v.).

Born 29/03/1792, son of Isaac Currie (1760-1843) and Mary Ann Raikes (d. 1834). Married 1847 to Mary (d. 1875) widow of Col. Clay (dsp). Leading private banker, in 1866 his firm became part of Glyn, Mills & Currie. Died 11/08/1858 at Hamburg, left £200,000. 'Formerly of Cornhill and formerly of 45 Upper Grosvenor Street, Grosvenor Square, Middlesex, and then of Bush Hill, Edmonton (probate calendar).
