London lawyer, of Brundrett & Co. Temple, who was trustee for John Graham Campbell (q.v.) and with co-trustees was awarded compensation for the New Hope, Retrieve, Albany, Ackindown Pen and Bog estates in Westmoreland Jamaica.
In 1835 Jonathan Brundrett was shown as of 3 Plowden Buildings Temple; in 1836 Brundrett, Randall Simmons & Brown solicitors were at 10 Kings Bench Walk Temple. In January 1842 Law Life Assurance Office Fleet Street called a General Meeting inter alia to elect a director in lieu of Jonathan Brundrett deceased.
Baptism 03/06/1832 of Sarah Elizabeth, daughter of Jonathan Brundrett (Solicitor of Bakers Alms House) and Ann Frances, at Hackney St John. Burial at Kensal Green All Souls 10/05/1841 of Jonathan Brundrett of 3 Plowden Buildings Middle Temple aged 70.
Brundrett gave £1000 to University College and Hospital in December 1837 and a further £2000 shortly before his death on 04/05/1841, and made UC and UCH the residuary legatees of his will, in the ratio 2/3:1/3.
