Biography
- Son of Cornelius Paine 'gentleman' of Brighton (probated February 1826). Colonial broker of 9 Mincing Lane, presumably partner in Kensington & Paine, colonial brokers of the same address. Independent in 1841 census, when he lived in Islington. His address was 9 Lewes Crescent Brighton in the probare calendar. High Constable of Brighton. Left £140,000 at his death.
