1788 - 20th Mar 1858
Son of William Pretyman and Charlotte Green. Married Elizabeth Eccleston (c. 1782-1865), whose sister Frances (1772-1839) married Charles Bartrum (1760-1827, son of Charles Bartrum and Esther Lucas). Daniel Green Pretyman was thus the uncle of his partner Thomas Reynolds Bartrum (q.v.). A brother of Elizabeth and Frances, like them born in Gravesend, was reportedly called Anthony Calvert (James) Eccleston, suggesting a possible slave-trade connection.
Marriage to Elizabeth Eccleston 29/01/1813 St Mary Newington (Charles Bartrum was one of the witnesses); and registration of death confirmed Q1 1858 Chertsey Surrey
