Awarded the compensation for the Blenheim estate in British Guiana with others as executors of Tully Higgins (q.v.).
Son of David Hall (q.v.) and Margaret Salter (d. 1823), and briefly partner with his father in Hall M'Garel.
Alexander Hall Hall, of 44 Portland Place, son of David Hall, married Caroline Hankey of 45 Portland Place, daughter of Thomson Hankey, at Trinity Church St Marylebone 25/09/1838. In 1871 Alexander Hall Hall aged 68 JP DL landowner born Cheltenham Gloucestershire was living at Watergate, Up Marden Sussex with his wife Caroline aged 53 born Dalston, daughters Caroline (24), Emily (21) and Katharine (19), and son Theodore (14 or 17), all born Upmarden. Will of Alexander Hall Hall late of Watergate House Up Marden near Emsworth County of Southampton who died 19/10/1874 at 2 Belgrave Place proved 28/11/1874 by Henry John Tritton, John Croft Deverell and Rev. Alleyne Hall Hall of 1 Alfred Place Dover, the son, effects under £120,000. He was 62 at death.
His eldest son was Charles Alexander Hall Hall (b. 1839); additional children other than those identified in the 1871 census were Alleyne; Fanny; George and Meta.
Alexander Hall Hall died age 72 while staying overnight at 2 Belgrave Square, the home of his former business partner Charles McGarel (q.v.), in 1874. An inquest concluded he died of natural causes.
T71/887 British Guiana No. 2397. He is identifed in Tully Higgins' will as of Austin Friars, which ties him to Hall M'Garel at 7 Austin Friars.
