Janet Mackintosh (given as Janet Fraser widow in the awards) claimed the compensation for the Golden Fleece estate in Berbice with her co-executors and trustees of Duncan Fraser (q.v., under Duncan Fraser of Finask). It has been inferred that this is Janet Mackintosh daughter of John Mackintosh of Aberarder who married Duncan Fraser of Finask at Inverness in 1806.
