A free man of colour in Trinidad, and one of the committee or organisers of an address of the 'free subjects of African descent' signed by 400 people and submitted to Sir Lewis Grant, Governor of Trinidad, 29/03/1832. The address or petition distanced the free people of colour from an address by the Illustrious Board of Cabildo that purported to speak on behalf of all free inhabitants against reforming Orders in Council.
