James Pairman of Barbados, heir under the will of his uncle Sir Thomas Ramsay bart. of Ramsay Lodge Portobello proved 23/06/1832. Sir Thomas Ramsay was an East India Co. man; his first wife was Miss Steele, daughter of late Dr Rev. Steele of Jamaica.
