Hon. Henry George Windsor of Bridgetown was buried in St Michael, Barbados, 17/06/1841 aged 57 years. Will of Henry George Windsor merchant and purser in the Royal Navy of the Island of Barbados proved 12/04/1843.
Henry George Windsor-Aubrey (heretofore Henry George Windsor) of Exeter College Oxford eldest son of Henry George Windsor late of Barbadoes in the West Indies, merchant deceased, granted the right to continue to use the surname Aubrey in addition to and after that of Windsor, in compliance with the last will and testament of Elizabeth Anne Aubrey deceased, wife of George William Aubrey of the city of Montreal.
Arthur Lloyd Windsor 1833-1913. Born at sea on voyage to Barbados, son of Henry George Windsor RN; his father's family owned sugar plantations in the West Indies. When Windsor was 5 his father died, 3 years later sent to school at Ottery St Mary, Devon. Returned to Barbados, taught at Codrington College. Editor Melbourne Argus 1863-5; The Age 1872-1900.
A counterclaim for Barbados no. 1448 places Windsor and Milne at 137 Leadenhall Street, London. Henry George Windsor wrote to the Compensation Commission from Budleigh Salterton in November 1835.
