Merchant and slave-owner in British Guiana, dying between 1844 and 1846, when a notice appeared for his creditors in the London Gazette. At that point he was identified with James Glen (q.v.) as co-owner of 5 estates in Demerara: Eccles, Profit, Henry, Haagsbosch and Greenfield.
