Biography

Assignee of the compensation for enslaved people on Bellevue and Mt Desire Estates in Carriacou: of one-third in trust for the sole use of Roe Henriette Dumont, of one-third in trust for Joseph Philipe Noel Dupont Duvivier, and of the remaining third in trust for Marie Elizabeth Duvivier.

Tentatively identified as Thomas Wilson (1767-1852) of Wood House, East Ham, Essex, MP for London 1818-1826. A merchant who had spent time in Grenada and 'a prominent spokesman [in the Commons] for the City mercantile interest'. Son of Robert Wilson of Wood House. Married 23/11/1796 Anne Mary Sabina ChenebiƩ, daughter of John Francis Blache of Homerton, Middlesex.
