Built by Henry Robertson Sandbach on the estate bought by his father Samuel Sandbach (1769-1851) in 1830 (Powys County Archives Office GB0223/M/D/SAND) or c. 1833 (Habakkuk). The family sold the house but still farm part of the estate (Wikipedia).
