These men were certainly related, but James Digges La Touche's brother William reportedly died in 1823. The will of Grace Digges La Touche proved in 1843 (PROB 11/1982/395) shows that her (deceased) son James had son named William, who was probably but not certainly this man. |

Enslaved boy on Unity Valley Pen, Jamaica. Manumitted in 1795 by David Barclay and removed to Philadelphia, with 29 other freed persons from the estate, where he was placed under the care of Society for Improving the Condition of Free Blacks.
