Hurd versus Law. The suit arose from a claim by John Goodson (a London merchant, see Grenada claim no. 571). The same counterclaims as other Goodson claims were made as in Grenada no. 691.

 

T71/331 p. 157: enslaved persons were registered in 1834 by Matthew Welsh, as attorney to John Goodson.

 

Times 01/03/1852 p. 7 and 15/06/1858 p. 12: Hurd versus Law. The case was between Samuel Proudfoot Hurd and William Law.
