Will of Susanna Johnson [Island Record Office, Spanish Town, Wills Vol. 87 p. 95, available at www.jamaicanfamilysearch.com] 13/4/1813: Susanna Johnson was a free woman of colour, Ann Pool Ritherdon was her daughter, 31 enslaved were left on trust to Susanna Johnson's 4 children by indenture 22/7/1803, 12 by name to Ann Pool Ritherdon. All children in England as of date of will. Children were offspring of Dugald Campbell, and were left [will made London 1/11/1813, proven London 7/1/1818] annuities and ownership of enslaved persons: Susanna Ricketts Johnson; Ann Pope Johnson [sic]; Mary Smith (nee Johnson), wife of Thomas Pope Smith of Hammersmith, London; George Johnson.
