T71/895: claim by George Hewitt, receiver to Pickerings Plantation. Counterclaims from Sarah Elizabeth Goppy, as assignee of a judgement, dated 25/06/1819, for £972 currency. John Grant Wilson, of Bristol, claimed under a judgement, dated 12/09/1806, and ultimately under a mortgage, dated 24/06/1819. Henry Edey, also assignee of a judgement dated 25/06/1819, claimed for £1100. George Wilson, of St John Street, Monmouth (South Wales), claimed under the will of George Wilson. The claim went to the Colonial Court, order dated 10/04/1838.

T71/553 p. 341: enslaved persons were registered by George Hewitt, as receiver, in 1834. The Pickerings Plantation belonged to Timothy Wm Halls.
T71/1306: Sarah Elizabeth Goppy counterclaimed, having been assigned by the Levis, who had been assigned it by John Grant Wilson, who had gained it against T.W. Halls.
T71/1280: the counterclaims identify Sarah Elizabeth Goppy as of the parish of St Michael's.
