T71/1608: letter, dated 20/01/1844, from J. W. Warren, 51 Windmill Street, Manchester, stating that he had been informed that H. H. Brennan's share of the compensation was received by some person with power of attorney, signed by H. H. Brennan, but 'in reality was not the case, as he died before that period at Honduras and left no power of attorney or will of any kind'. J. W. Warren was married to the only sister of the said Mr Brennan, 'and consider my wife his heir at law.'
