Kathleen Mary Butler, The Economics of Emancipation: Jamaica and Barbados 1823-1843 (Chapel Hill and London, University of North Carolina Press, 1995) pp. 97-8: shows Margaret Ann Bend as owner, but also as a large scale mortgagee (£22,157), including £12,871 to Sir Reynolds Abel Alleyne.

Identified as Pleasant Hall from Margaret Bend's registration in the 1832 Slave Register for Barbados.  

T71/563 p. 28: Abraham Watson registered 24 enslaved persons in 1834, as attorney to John E. Bend.
