  1. Probably Margaret A Bend, estimated birth year 1768, buried in St Peter, Barbados, 20 March 1841.

  2. Margaret Ann Bend was awarded the compensation for the enslaved people on an estate identified from the 1832 Slave Register as Pleasant Hall in Barbados, but was also as a large scale mortgagee (£22,157), including £12,871 to Sir Reynolds Abel Alleyne, to whom she had sold enslaved people in 1820 and from whom she (re)purchased a number [103] in 1826.
