Parliamentary Papers p. 150.
T71/891: Joshua Drinkald and Henry John Rucker were trustees appointed by deed dated 04/06/1833.
Times 29/05/1836 p.3: Drinkald and Drinkald v West: John Drinkald died December 1823 leaving two sons, John and Joshua Drinkald and a daughter Mrs West. John Drinkald left £58,000 plus real property to the amount of £550 p.a. Mrs West received only £1000 and a life interest in £4000 at 3 per cent, and challenged the validity of the codilcils ('the deceased was an imbecile'), lost badly. The judge would have awarded costs aginst her if Messrs Drinkald had not 'very much to their credit' waived their claim to costs, as the proceeding was in some degree vexatious.
