T71/885: claim by 'The Heirs of the widow Sporon'. Counterclaim by Jan Frederick Scharff, J.P. Jeannette Walen and Gerhardus Blancke, in their capacity as Commissaries, and also by Pieter Swanenberg, as Director of and representative of the shareholders in the mortgage on the plantation. (Dutch absentees?).

 

T71/1610: letter, dated 13/01/1836, from Adolphus Back, Sussex Chambers, Duke St., St James, on behalf of a part owner of 1/4th who resides in Germany. The letter enquires if it is known to you that the widow of the late Dr Seporon is owner of the said estate.

The enslaved people on La Fraternite situate on theWest Bank of the River Berbice were registered in 1819 on behalf of the heirs of the Widow Sporon.
