Amsterdam merchant, awarded all or part of the compensation for the enslaved people in seven claims in British Guiana in various capacities.
T71/885 British Guiana no. 357 (Nieuw Hoop) identifies him as merchant of Amsterdam. London Gazette, Issue 19977, 11/05/1841, p. 1202 also shows him as residing in Amsterdam.
