Parliamentary Papers p. 132.

T71/887: claim from George James Clifton, 'for self and the heirs of his late Father owners in fee by Alex. Macrae'. 'Awarded to George James Clifton the executor of his father and brother and assignee of his sister and her husband of the compensation due to them, and proof of there being no other children'.   

T71/432 p. 1545: enslaved persons were registered by H.J. Roberts, as joint proprietor with J.H. Roberts, in 1832.

The sister and her husband referred to in the claim are Renee Guichard Clifton and her husband Claud Neilson, of Hon. Wm. Fraser, Alexander & Neilson.
