T71/885: claim by William Forsyth, as owner. Counterclaim from the Winter family, as mortgagees.  Counterclaim by Smith Payne & Smith, for 2 mortgages of £8050 and £14868 and upwards. The second counterclaim was admitted. William Forsyth had mortgaged the plantation to Nathaniel Winter and John Innes in 1825; assigned to Freshfield and Beadnell as trustees for Smith Payne & Smith in 1834.
